Wisconsin Lacrosse Needs You

WLF Board Nominations are Open

The Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation is looking for nominations for its Board of Directors for the upcoming elections. This is an excellent opportunity to give back to the sport and have an impact on the governing body of lacrosse in Wisconsin.

The term for each position is two years. Current positions up for elections are:

  • President – Executive Position
  • Secretary – Executive Position
  • Girl’s High School Director
  • Boys’ Youth Director
  • Coaches’ Director
  • Boys’ Officials Director
  • Events Director
  • Sportsmanship Director

Besides the duties of the position there are 4 board meeting per year. Two in person and two via conference call.  More information and the nomination form can be found by following the button below.

The Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation was established in 2001 as the state chapter for US Lacrosse, the national governing body of lacrosse. The WLF oversees boy’s and girl’s youth and high school lacrosse and promotes lacrosse played at all levels in the State of Wisconsin. Nearly 7,000 boys and girls play youth and high school lacrosse across Wisconsin.

WI Lax is looking for a Jamboree Director.

Wisconsin Lacrosse Lovers,
US Lacrosse Wisconsin is looking is  for an event director for the Spring Jamboree. 
The planning for the 2017 WLF Spring Jamboree is underway. March 25 and 26th  at Woodside Sports Complex, Wisconsin Dells. 
The Jamboree is a great event to kick off the 2017 season.It’s an opportunity to knock the winter rust off the players and train new officials.
The Jamboree director will manage a committee format with duties for each of the 7 members of the committee. In this way, it will not be an overwhelming amount of work for any one person. the attached document is that outline. The WLF will  train and update each new member of the committee with background information. 
The Spring Jamboree needs volunteers .  If you are interested and/or would like more information, fill out the form below. 
We need to fill this position by mid November.
