Nomination process – Beginning 2020 the WLF will be transitioning to 3-year terms so that beginning 2022 1/3 of board positions will be up for election each year.
Anyone can be nominated for consideration by any Wisconsin based US Lacrosse member, including themselves.
Board elections –
- Each WLF Member organization, as outlined in section 1.03 of the WLF bylaws will have one vote for electing WLF board members.
- With a 30 day notice of each year, member programs must register one person to cast the votes on behalf of that organization. Failure to register by the deadline will forfeit the right to cast a vote in that year’s election.
- Current board members also have the right to vote in the election without registering.
- Each individual person will only be allowed one vote, regardless of multiple program affiliations or registrations.
